Your Social Security Number is used to obtain information about your credit history. Your credit score and history gives the surety a measurable diagnostic as to your ability to come up with potentially large sums of money, in the case a valid claim is filed on your bond. If you don't have good credit don't worry; we have great programs that may be a perfect match for your needs.

Some sureties will discount for owning real estate and we want to make sure we have all information necessary to get you the lowest quote possible.

(Why do we need this?)

The Surety needs to know all parties that are required to indemnify for the bond. Your spouse is required to indemnify in the rare chance that a claim is paid out on your bond. This protects the Surety from untrustworthy contractors who would rather declare bankruptcy and transfer assets into their spouses name than deal with taking responsibility for their claims.
